RECCOMENDATION: NINA NESBITT.

LISTEN TO NINA NESBITT HERE

Hey guys, its recommendation time!! Today I am recommending Nina Nesbitt's new album 'Peroxide'. A lot of you probably haven't even heard of Nina Nesbitt-but she's great! I've been listening to her music for about 2 years now and I literally cant get enough of it. Anyway, on the 17th of February Nina brought out her new album 'Peroxide' which is what I am here to recommend today(I'm literally listening to it as I type).

LIST OF SONGS.

1)Peroxide
2)Stay Out
3)Selfies
4)Two Worlds Away
5)Align
6) Mr.C
7)He's The One Im Bringing Back
8)18 Candles
9)Tough Luck
10)The Outcome
11)Hold You (Feat. Kodaline)
12)We'll Be Back For More
13)The Hardest Part
14)Some You Win
15)Bright Blue Eyes
16) Brit Summer
17)Dont Stop
18)Not What Your Dad Wants To Know
19)The Apple Tree
20)The People

SONGS YOU MAY ALREADY KNOW.

STAY OUT:

You may have heard of Nina's song 'Stay Out' which was written after a night out where her manager wanted to go home but Nina wanted to 'Stay Out' and shows all of her observations throughout the evening. Stay Out is one of those really cheery, happy songs and I promise if you listen to it, you'll be singing it all week!

DONT STOP:
You've probably heard the original Fleetwood Mac song 'Dont Stop' and this is a brilliant cover written for the John Lewis home insurance advert, which, weirdly, is taken extremley seriously in Britain. Seriously, all anyone ever talks about in December is the John Lewis Christmas advert (This year's was an emotional roller coaster).

THE APPLE TREE:
This song is from 'The Apple Tree EP' and its the first song of Nina's I ever listen to. I found the EP in July 2012(I think) because I had seen a load of good reviews of twitter and I spend my entire holidays listening to it on repeat. The Apple Tree is still one of my favourite songs and I love that its on the new album.

NEW FAVOURITES/RECOMMENDATIONS:

PEROXIDE:
Obviously this is the title song and its great. I've literally been singing this all week, Im trying to get all my friends to listen to it but they never listen to me until its too late- I'll be listening to Nina's next album before they listen to me. If your not sure whether you'd enjoy Nina's music, listen to this song and it will convince you!

MR.C:
I love this song, its so catchy and I think my favourite on the whole album. The song was originally being written for Lilly Allen but wasnt going to be used so Nina rewrote it and used it for Peroxide. It was sent off to Lily Allen first and has her approval, which is amazing because Lilly Allen is just wow!

TOUGH LUCK:
I've just been out for a meal for my friends birthday and spent the whole time singing this song. Nina has said that 'Tough Luck' is one of the most angriest songs she's ever written- she should seriously me angry more often.

THE OUTCOME:
This song is one of my favourites on the album because I find it so relatable. Its about giving someone the choice 'All or nothing' which I love because I hate two faced people and in my opinion if your not going to be fully committed to something then there's no point(I'll stop before I rant).

HOLD YOU:

'Hold You' is another song of 'The Apple Tree EP' its one of my favourites anyway but what makes this even better is the fact that 'Kodaline' features on it for the album!! 'Kodaline' are an Irish indie rock/alt rock band whom I also recommend, if you have time you should check out there album 'In A Perfect World'.

Okay, so I could be here all day telling you my favourites because the whole album is great. Basically you should listen to the album because its amazing. I've linked the album below the big picture at the top of the post and the whole album including a track by track of some of the songs are all on Spotify!

THINGS IM LOOKING FORWARD TO IN 2014.

This post is pretty straight forward, there's not really any need for an explanation, Its just things I'm looking forward to. I'm really exited about 2014 and I have no idea why. Its been good so far(I know there's only been a month and a half) and I have a feeling that its going to be a good year all together. Here are some of the things I'm looking forward to in 2014:

+ MY BIRTHDAY
Its my Birthday next month- 17th of March,Remember it!- and I think I have told everyone I have set eyes on. I don't even know why I'm exited, I hate doing things for my Birthday, I just want presents and food.

+ JACK WHITEHALL
Jack Whitehall is one of my favourite comedians/people ever! I'm going to see him for my Birthday next month and I'm literally bouncing with excitement! I've been annoying my friends talking about it for nearly a year now, and Its about to get a whole lot worse, literally from March 1st its going to be a minute to minute countdown!

+ ED SHEERAN'S NEW ALBUM
You may have already picked up on this- I LOVE ED SHEERAN. Like seriously, the guy's a lyrical miracle. I've been waiting for this album since what feels like FOREVER and it should be out pretty soon- I'm thinking June maybe?

+ THE FAULT IN OUR STARS
I literally cant explain to you how exited I am for this film to come out. I read the book last year after my friend  Abbie (http://polkadotsandfun.blogspot.co.uk/) recommended it to me. Its her favourite book and she lent it to me wrapped in protective plastic covering and with death threats if I did anything to harm the book-I'm not even joking, the girls crazy. I have fallen in love with this book and cried my eyes out when I finished and also during the trailer for the movie- sad I know. Also #FunFact for Christmas I got my friend Abbie a SIGNED copy of The Fault In Our Stars because I am literally the best friend anyone could ever ask for.

+ SUMMER, SUMMER, SUMMER!!!
I am so exited for summer, I have about 16 exams in May/June and as soon as that is over I never have to go to school again- I am going back to school because I want to stay on for 6th form and then go to University, but that's not the point. I'll probably be working most of the Summer( I work at a museum fairground but that's a whole other post) but I don't mind because It means I get money to do better things and I end up spending my days off doing something awesome because I don't want to waste it! I've already started planning my annual day at the beach with the girls.
Me and Abbie last Summer.

+ HOLIDAY!
I haven't been on holiday since 2012, so I am definitely in need of a break. I'm going to Spain with my friend Trina and I'm so exited. Were going right after exams which is great because a) I feel like I've earned a break after 16 exams & b) Hopefully it'll take my mind off my results- I know all Ill do until I get my results is go ''OH MY GOD I'VE FAILED EVERYTHING'' and I hate getting myself all worked up.
Me and Trina at the
 beach last Summer:))))

+ 6th FORM
Im pretty sure 6th Form is just a British thing. So for those of you who don't know what 6th form is, its basically two years of higher education from age 16-18 to get your qualifications to go to university, Its not compulsory and some people go to college or straight into work instead, but I'm to scared to leave. I'm hoping all of my lessons are going to be in the afternoon so I can sleep in and just stroll in about 12 o'clock rather then running in at 8:30..

+ HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER FINALE
I don't know how I feel about this actually. On the one hand I cant wait to see what they have in store for the finale but on the other hand I DON'T WANT IT TO FINISH *cries*. How I met Your Mother has become a part of my life, I know that sounds sad but I literally watch it everyday. I cant wait for the finale but I'm hoping their still going to do one off specials and there's talk of a spin-off - How I Met Your FATHER!< I see what you did there;)

+ CHRISTMAS
I know its a bit early to be thinking about Christmas, but its literally my favourite time of year and I cant think of anything I like more than Christmas, there's nothing bad about it. I start counting down from the 26th of December- in a perfect world it would be socially acceptable to have a 365 day advent calender!

What happened when I googled Christmas^^

Happy 2014 everyone, I hope you have a wonderful year!

BELATED HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!

Euugh Valentines Day, one day out of every year where its socially acceptable for PDA couples to look down on fun single people. This post is for the single ladies, im going the way of Beyonce *starts flipping hand*

What you have to remember is that Valentines Day is about more than just love and PDA, Its also the day YouTube was founded and if that's not something to celebrate then I don't know what is. I mean just look at what we have now...
Dan and Phil.
And if that's not enough for you, which it should be, what more could you possible want when you have Beyonce and Dan&Phil? But if its not, just think, next week all the chocolates will be half price!!!!
Yes that's right, you'll be able to get a family size box of Malteasers for £1, BRING ON THE MILK TRAY!!
Oh Cara.

If you dont want to spend Valentines Day alone, just in case you eat all of the Ben and Jerry's and find yourself the next morning in a pile of empty ice cream cartons, tissues and Bridget Jones playing on the TV
We've all been there...
Then invite some friends over, order a take away and stick a film on #Perfect.
*Cue pictures of me and my friends, giving you the idea that I have some form of social life*

HAHAHAHA I HAVE FRIENDS,sometimes....

BRITISH BOYS.

When ever I go abroad I always get people who talk to me about 'British Boys'. I dont really see the appeal myself, I suppose its like the grass is always greener on the other side sort of thing. However, I have to admit we do have some, and I mean SOME, gorgeous looking guys and I am hear to share these with you today. If your not from Britain you might not be aware of these wonderful looking people and all I can say is YOUR WELCOME.

BANDS.
For some reason its become a like a new trend to create a boyband. Here are some of the best looking, maybe not so talented boybands of Britain.

ONE DIRECTION

Oh wow, the British phenomenon that is One Direction. Not really my kind of music, but even I have to admit to singing 'What makes you beautiful' into my hairbrush.
My Favourites: Niall Horan and Harry Styles.

THE WANTED

If you'd have asked me in 2011 who my favourite band was I would definatley say it was The Wanted. I used to listen to Heart Vaccancy about 50 times a day.
My Favourites: Nathan Sykes and Jay McGuiness.

MCFLY

These were my childhood band, '5 colours in her hair' was played at every party I went to until I was 10. McFly have made a comeback to celebrate their 10 year anniversary and I can wait to go and see them on tour along with Busted in May!
My Favourites: Dougie Poynter and Tom Fletcher.

THE VAMPS

New band 'The Vamps' are the next big thing, I am forever singing their song 'Can We Dance'
My Favourites: Bradley Simpson.

LAWSON

I saw Lawson live last year for my Birthday and they were amazing!! I was like a centimeter away from touching Andy, that sounds creepy, they were in the crowd I didnt just jump up on stage..
My Favourites: Andy Brown and Ryan Fletcher.

YOU ME AT SIX

Ahhhhh, daym I love You Me at six. I cant even explain how good they are, me and my friend Abbie went to see them live in November and it was one of the best nights of my life!!

TINIE TEMPAH

Oh wow, my friends are going to see Tinie Tempah on tour in April and all I can say is that I am wel jel!

DAN SMITH

Should probably have put Dan in the bands section as he is part of the band Bastille but, well I didnt. Aswell as being gorgeous Dan Smith is extremely talented. I went to see Bastille last October and Oh my days they were amazing, I cant even explain how good they were live!

TV.
TYGER DREW HONEY

Plays Jake Brockman in comedy series Outnumbered, and has cheekbones you could cut glass with.

MATT SMITH

You'll probably know Matt Smith as he has been playing 'The Doctor' in Doctor Who for the past 4 years.

JACK WHITEHALL

Sorry again guys, this ones mine. Jack Whitehall is a well known British comedian and acts in Bad Education as teacher Alfie Wickers and in Fresh Meat as Uni student JP. IM GOING TO SEE HIM ON TOUR NEXT MONTH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beautiful Douglas Booth is best known for his role as Kyle in 'Lol' and as Romeo in 'Romeo and Juliet'

ANDREW GARFIELD

Although he is best known for playing Spider Man, he is also in one of my favourite films 'Never Let Me Go'< Emotional Rollercoaster of a film.
