ROOMSPIRATION .

If you've read my 'Photographs&Preservation' post you'll know that I like to keep things and find creative ways to keep them looking nice. I have so many of these little things in my room so I thought I'd share my ideas with you so you can use them or adapt them to fit your own room. Here goes!

CRAYON ART
Many of you have probably seen tutorials for this on Youtube but If not, Crayon art is basically where you melt different coloured crayons onto a canvas to make a rainbow pattern. I saw this on intsagram and then did some research on Youtube to find out what methods work best. Many of the tutorials use a hot glue gun to stick the crayons to a canvas and then melt with a hairdryer but me being me and having extremely bad luck I couldn't find a canvas anywhere and the hot glue gun I bought didn't work- thanks ebay.. So instead I used a Plastic clip frame, which is a cardboard back with a layer of plastic clipped on to it, its used to make photo collages without a chunky frame and now to make crayon art, and instead of using a glue gun I used tea lights to melt the crayons a little bit and quickly stick the melty bit down before it dries, this was hard to do and awkward so I would recommend using a hot glue gun like a normal person.. After this I stuck the crayons to a piece of cardboard above the frame and melted the crayon onto the plastic so your'e left with a sheet of colourful plastic and then turned it over and clipped onto the rest of the board CRAYON FACE DOWN! I know this sounds really weird so I'd probably just Google it or find a tutorial if I were you, but heres when mine looked like anyway.:)
Final Result. Its dark because I left it till like 7 to take the pictures..

POSTERS.
Obviously I'm not going to tell you how to put up a poster because your'e not completely stupid,probably... I have about 7 posters up in my room at the moment but 3 have fallen down because my Blutack has gotten too old,If anyone knows of a longer lasting way to stick up posters please comment!! Posters are a great way to show people what stuff your'e into, its like *Walks In*''oh so you like ed sheeran?'' I have a couple of large posters up in my room now but I used to have about 100 small posters from shops and magazines that completely covered my wall, which is great if you have loads of things your'e interested in or you want t o make a shrine of just one person,*cough*Edsheeran.....
All of these posters were £3.99 in HMV or 3 for £10.

PHOTOS.
I've already done a photos post with ideas of how to keep all your photo memories creative so I'll just show you how I've put them in my room. I have used photos of me and my friends&family to create a  heart of photos and also a photo border, you could either put the border on one wall like I have because I have the New York skyline on my wall or you could make a border all the way round, this could take alot of photos though, depending on the size of your room obviously. I printed all my photos out on Snapfish.co.uk , I used a voucher so I had 50 free photos and only had for p&p which was great! 50 photos only cost £4.50 which is alot cheaper than the supermarkets where I live and you get the first 20 free anyway!

MAKE UP.
I spent ages cleaning my room yesterday because it was like a pig sty, I noticed that I had nowhere to put my make-up. Im thinking about getting a small wicker basket and keeping it all like Easter eggs but for now I had to improvise. For Christmas 2012 I got Lady Gaga's 'The Fame' perfume which is sooo nice, I wore it everyday but now its run out:( The perfume came in a slidey box with a shower gel, instead of throwing the box out I thought it would be good to keep things in and now it holds my make up! You could use any kind of box for this, e.g a Shoebox - I would cover it in wrapping paper to make it brighter and because I clearly have no social life.

OUTSIDE.( yes that is a pair of flamingo glasses, thats a whole other post)

 CUSHION COLLECTION.
So, I decided that I want a cushion collection.. I don't even know why, I just like the idea of having loads of funky cushions everywhere. So far I have 3 on my bed, I had 2 more but I've lost them, I don't know how, I just have. Also,FUNFACT: I have a cushion filled with badges and pins I used to collect when I was little, I was a weird child...

Cushion collection, so far its not very big..

My mum got me an owl for Christmas, she thinks im weird too...
Mushroom, I bought this when I was out with a friend. The back of it doesnt have the red or the spots and it was only half way home that I realised it looked like I was carrying a cushion in the shape of a Penis....

CANDLES.
I love candles, I think they set a really calming mood and I love having them im my room If I need to relax. Its best to light them just after you've had a bath, you can sit down with some chocolate cake and watch TV while the candles are burning. The bad thing about candles is that alot of them, especially the lovely Yankee Candles have cinnamon scents in them, you may like cinnamon but I hate it,HATE IT!

This is my favourite candle at the moment, I dont know how
but It changes colour when you light it!

Also it was really cheap, I think it was £2.99
from Poundstretcher..

 PRESERVATION.
I said about keeping little memories in my Photographs&Preservation post a couple of weeks ago and one of the ways I talked about was sticking things like tags, tickets, receipts and photos to your wall. I've been doing these little collages for about 3 years now and I love it because its so easy to change whenever you take new photos or go new places.

FLOWERS.
Flowers are a great way to brighten up your room and bring nature to you<that sounds cheesy. They're a great way to remind you about summer and also are a great reminder that Spring is just around the corner. HOWEVER, if you have Hay fever like I do, waking up to flowers by your window aren't the best thing, and that's why I use plastic ones, yay, genius! I couldn't find anything to put them in so I just put them in an old hair heat protector spray bottle.

BITS AND BOBS.
Ive always got random things floating around and nowhere to put them, I always end up losing things so I thought I needed a good place to put them. My best friend Trina made me a memory jar for one of my Birthdays which basically is a jar full of little pieces of paper with memory references-its really cute. Anyway, that got me thinking and now I keep all the stuff I have floating around in plastic and glass jars. In one of them I've put a load of fabric flowers from a Hula outfit and then put a load of jewelry on top of that, and then In another one I have a load of my favourite Nail polishes- mostly from elf.
Hula flowers and old bracelets.
NAIL VARNISH!!
