TELLY TIME!

With January and the New Year people think of goals and aspirations, things they hope to achieve over the year. I, however, think of whats on the TV. There are so many programs I am exited about, some new and some new series' of old favourites, here is a list of my personal recommendations!:

+ MY MAD FAT DIARY- E4.
I started watching this when the first series was on last year, its basically about a teenage girl who struggles with her weight and is trying to get through life, although my description doesn't make it sound like, its so funny and its set in the 90s which I love because Im obsessed with the 90s at the moment I love the grungy fashion and my favourite band is Oasis, which they play a lot during the shows.
Also if all that's not a reason to watch it, the guys who play Archie(right) and Finn(Left) are HOT!!!

+ BROOKLYN NINE NINE- E4.
I dont really know much about this program as there's only been one episode so far, but I already think its hilarious. Its a comedy series about a police station in Brooklyn, so far the main character Jake Peralta isnt taking his job very seriously, but then gets a shock when the new Captain, Ray Holt turns out to be stricter then he thought.
WARNING: MAY CONTAIN ANDY SAMBERG.

+UNCLE- BBC3
There's also only been one episode of this so far but im all ready in to it. Its a comedy seires about a really immature, dumb guy has to look after his 12 year old nephew and its funny because the boy is more mature than the guy, you get the drift. The Uncle is played by one of my favourite comedians Nick Helm, I first discovered Nick Helm on Live at The Electric(Ill talk about the new series of that next) and I've been watching him ever since on various episodes of 8 out of 10 cats, He's so funny and musically talented- there's even a musical number in the first episode of Uncle!

+ LIVE AT THE ELECTRIC- BBC3.
Live at the Electric is a live comedy show presented by Russell Kane, a hilarious comedian from Essex. The show contains various comedy sketches and bits such as songs from Nick Helm in the first series(shown above) and my favourite ' Two Episodes of Mash'. You cant even explain two episodes of mash its just random comedy, Joe Wilkinson is so funny. Live at the Electric is on its 3rd series and im always afraid that it might go down hill because shows often do after the first series but this is the show that just keeps giving!

+ REVENGE- E4.
Oh wow, this show is amazing. I cant even explain the plot to you because its like fucking inception, if you start watching it now start from the first series because its on the third and its not going to make any sense to you. I love this show, its so addictive, once you watch the first episode all you can think about for a week is what's going to happen in the next and its never what you expect! I highly recommend this show!
The cast of Revenge looking HOT!

+ THE MIDNIGHT BEAST.- E4.
The Midnight Beast is the name of one of my favourite bands and also the name of they're amazing TV show! I haven't really been keeping up with the band for the last couple of months which is a shame but I cant wait for the new series of the TV show to start. The show is kind of loosely based on they're life as a band and they incorporate they're songs which is great. If you are going to start watching this amazing show(which I definitely think you should) you should definitely watch the first series first, you'd probably still understand what was going on if you didn't but the first series is so good its just something you don't want to miss out on. They're songs are so funny and catchy and nothing about them is serious its great- If your not sure whether to watch it or not, listen to a couple of they're songs, you can find they're albums on Spotify and I recommend 'Booty Call' as its my favourite!

+ 8 OUT OF 10 CATS DOES COUNTDOWN- CHANNEL 4.
A relativley new show mixed with an old classic, I LOVE IT. Its a comedy panel show combined with an old game show , Jimmy Carr presents it with Sean Lock and Jon Richardson(who i am slightly in love with) as team captains. The show is great as it shows off different British comedians every week, but obviously there are regulars. E.G, Joe Wilkinson one of my favourite comedians who I mentioned earlier pops up about half way through the show to talk about random shit that turns out to be comedy gold! Its a twist on one of my favourite shows ever and it includes Jon Richardson so.....yep.

                                                 + HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER- E4.
If you've read the rest of my blog, or even just my last post you'll know that I'm a massive fan of How I Met Your Mother and I've got the yellow umbrella to prove it. Now I don't know when but some time this year the latest and also final series of How I Met Your Mother with be aired on E4, its all ready out in America and available to watch on the internet but I don't want to watch it online as I refuse to believe its over at all! This is honestly my favourite program ever and I don't know what im going to do when its over, I'm still caught up on F.R.I.E.N.D.S so I'll probably still be walking around with my yellow umbrella in 2034! I cant believe its nearly over but I know that the finale's going to me amazing and that I should probably but a couple boxes of tissues because I'll probably cry for like a week(im getting upset thinking about it). I highly, highly recommend you watch the last series of How I Met Your Mother and I also recommend that you watch the rest , over and over until you can recite them because its literally that amazing!
SEASON 1.
